TITLE: Yin and Yang
We all live in two worlds in our heads. It just happens that the balance of those worlds is different for each of us. However, every now and then we find ourselves on the edge. How do you deal with that moment?

From the brutalist architecture of Eastern Europe, to the beaches of Greece, pubs of the UK and lastly to the mountains of Switzerland.
I was born on August 1998 in Constanta, Romania. Until the age of 18 I have moved back and forth between Greece and Romania. Although relatively difficult sometimes, it has taught me how to adapt to new situations efficiently, and connect with people easily.
September 2017 marked a new life milestone for me as I moved to the United Kingdom for my University studies. Little did I know, that the 5 years I spend in Brighton will be some of the most memorable ones. A time which will always bring a feeling of nostalgia when looking back. It was during this period that I purchased my first digital camera on a rainy November day in 2018. I remember taking that camera with me everywhere (every party, every holiday…). The Covid-19 pandemic has opened a new path personally, in terms of photographic choices. I dove into the realm of analogue photography. It was my housemate at that time Mihai, and his new Praktica camera that convinced me to buy my first SRL as well (Canon T70). More cameras of such kind have gone through my hands in the coming years, and they all brought me the same joy.
Currently, I am living in Fribourg , Switzerland. I am always bringing at least one camera on my hikes. I have progressed to developing and scanning my own film negatives, and who knows, maybe one day I will have the chance to print a few in the darkroom.
