TITLE: Life Is Still a Beautiful Garden, Don’t Say Otherwise


This series of photographs is dedicated to the archetype of the “paradise garden” as a symbol of a protected space essential for children’s peaceful growth. Shot mostly on analog cameras, often using a monocle lens, the images have blurred contours and dark tones, evoking an atmosphere of memory and dream.
Through soft edges and play of light, the project conveys the fragility of childhood, the importance of personal safe spaces, and the deep connection with nature. It merges the author’s own memories with the viewer’s experience, inviting a return to a state of trust and calm. The work becomes a visual reminder of the necessity to cherish and preserve such inner and outer spaces in real life.

Veronika works in the genres of portrait, landscape,
imaginative storytelling.
She assigns an important role to the economy of narration in both
visual and meaningful senses, leaving to the viewer a space
for imaginative perception. Great importance gives to the shooting
space, often making the landscape a separate character.
As an artist, formulates her task in the direction of the camera lens
to where it is painful and unpleasant to look — after all, if the artist looked at a complex topic and told about it, then it will become a little easier for the viewer to focus his attention and to reflect. So the world, even after a while, will get a little better.
Her photoprojects explore the topic of gentrification and territorial conflict within the city, as well as other topics related to the borders of territories and peoples.
Uses both digital and film cameras, prefers analog shooting in natural light.
