TITLE: Milking time
This young Samburu girl had been out all day grazing the goats. On her return, she had guided the animals into the boma made of spikey stings and branches where they could be counted and the mothers and young goats could be reunited. After the young goats had fed from their mothers they are then taken into a separate area
It's a long day in hot sun and hard work.
AUTHOR: Titch Tetley (United Kingdom)
Titch's documentary work is varied and raw. From photographing the elegance of Highgrove Gardens and the tradition of The Honourable Artillery Company to capturing the energy of The Jockey Club, every project offers a new story to tell. Certain projects have taken her abroad and most often to Kenya, where she has undertaken a number of commissions including Nairobi Safe House charity and Horse Safaris in Laikipia. Whether she’s shooting humanitarian efforts, historic institutions, or the natural world, her goal is always to create powerful, honest images that connect people to the stories that matter.
