TITLE: The Weight of Memory
A portrait about time, memory, and the quiet distance between generations. I see the distance between presence and memory, between what is held and what must be released.
The girl stands beside the surfboard with a quiet strength, facing the viewer and the future. The older figure, blurred and close, seems to belong to another layer of time.
For me, this image is not only about age. It is about transition. About standing at the shore of one’s own life, carrying traces of those who came before, while already being drawn toward a horizon of one’s own.
