TITLE: THE MONKEYS WITH THE PROBOSCIS

During a hike in the jungle of Borneo, between the rustle of leaves and the call of tropical birds, I came across one of the most extraordinary symbols of this wild land: the nasal monkey. With his unmistakable profile and curious look, this specimen seemed to observe the intruder with the same wonder with which I observed him.

I tried to capture in this shot not only the singular beauty of its long trunk, but also the quiet majesty of its natural environment — a fragile balance of life that Borneo guards with rare intensity.
