TITLE: Cradle

I have seen a lot of sea otters over the years, but most of them have been by boat. During an expedition along the west coast of the United States, we spotted this adorable duo near a harbor. The two otters were curled up together resting on the rocky shore right beneath us. It was a new perspective I’ve never seen or photographed before. Using my telephoto lens, I was able to zoom in and capture this intimate moment of the mother cradling her sleeping baby.
