TITLE: A Poem of Pineapple Field

Xuwen, at the southernmost end of Chinese Mainland, is a coastal county with a large amount of latosol land. There is no radical complete urbanization here, and people make a living by growing pineapples. Thus, we can read a poem composed by pineapple fields, thatched cottages, wind turbines, and bungalows. It is a landscape driven by the local social structure, containing the simplicity and comfort nurtured by this land. I use this photo to present a highly Eastern poetic scene in contemporary Chinese countryside.
