TITLE: Shadows of Silence
This Photo shows the lunar landscape of the "Montes Alpes" at the first quater, where the sunlight strucks the mountains and craters of the moon and cast their shadows on the rugged surface and give us a natural 3D effect of the landscape. Without an atmosphere and corrosion the lunar surface lies silent and untouched, shaped only by billions of years of cosmic impacts. This photo was taken with my 12" Newtonian telescope at 1500mm focal lenght and a 2.5x focal extender, with an IMX 178 mono sensor by lucky imaging technique.
