TITLE: Nylon Goddes
The photograph was captured by Szymon Brodziak in a unique artistic studio in Athens, where the spirit of classical craftsmanship has been present for generations.
The title’s nylon is no coincidence. To this day, nylon fabrics are still used in sculpting studios during the process of creating molds and protecting delicate structures. They help maintain the proper moisture of the material and protect the surface of the artwork, becoming a symbol of protection, care, and the subtle act of embracing the form itself.
In “Nylon Goddess,” the world of ancient sculpture meets contemporary femininity. The model becomes part of the sculptural scenery — like a living figure suspended between history and the present. The softly flowing nylon surrounding her body creates a sense of movement and lightness amidst the weight of stone, building Brodziak’s characteristic language of contrasts — between strength and subtlety, permanence and fragility, classicism and modernity.
It is a story about femininity that — much like art itself — remains timeless.
