TITLE: Inverted Canopy

Inverted Canopy shows St Paul’s Cathedral seen through foreground trees, transformed by a two-second exposure, intentional camera movement, and tonal inversion. The familiar architectural form is partially dissolved into branches, vertical traces, and layered light, making the building appear less like a fixed monument than a structure emerging from the surrounding canopy.

The image explores the instability of memory and place: architecture becoming organic, the city becoming spectral, and a landmark shifting into something dreamlike and uncertain. Through inversion and movement, the scene becomes suspended between built form and natural growth, recognition and abstraction.
