I am René Columbus, a landscape photographer based on Germany’s North Sea coast. My work focuses on atmospheric, minimalist scenes shaped by light, motion, and calm coastal environments. I create long-exposure black-and-white images as well as expressive ICM work that transforms landscapes into emotional impressions rather than literal records. As the owner of a fine-art printing business since 2005, I consider the print the true completion of a photograph.
