TITLE: Concrete wings
I tried to photograph this familiar place in a less touristic way, emphasizing its symmetry and almost brutalist presence through black and white tones.
AUTHOR: Mariano Garcia Perez (Spain)
Born in Ibiza and currently based in Valencia, I started photography almost by accident after being gifted a camera a year and a half ago. What began as simple curiosity slowly became a personal way of reconnecting with the world around me.
I started with black and white analog photography before moving into digital, learning through experimentation, observation, and a growing interest in composition and light. Photography became a slower way of experiencing everyday life — paying attention to details, textures, contrasts, and small moments that would normally go unnoticed.
More than a professional pursuit, photography remains a personal space: a reason to walk, observe, and step outside the noise of routine.
