TITLE: *or - Die Offenbarung
ÔR is the name for the moment when the invisible becomes visible and society is simultaneously forced to look. It is ʾôr—the command to create, the first light. It is ʿôr—the inner light that resides in every human being. And it is Churzpa—the audacity to assert that this must be shown, that the world must see it, that looking away is now impossible.
The series is not portrait photography in the classical sense.
It is a negotiation between blindness and sight, between structure and identity, between what the norm wants to see and what physics reveals.
it is a dance on the fine line between abstract fine art monochrome photography and the illusion of descriptive photography.
And while everything's real and unaltered, it is still not visible to the human eye. abstract, yet familiar.
