TITLE: Motown Today
Detroit has a deep musical history, and many of its historic clubs have endured through decades of economic change. These images were taken across several of the city’s most iconic venues, where on any given night, established players and emerging artists share the stage. Jam sessions blur the line between generations, with younger musicians stepping into traditions shaped long before them. The scene remains open, collaborative, and very much alive. These photographs aim to document that ongoing exchange as it happens in real time.
