TITLE: The Burden of Memory
This work explores spaces where time has not erased what once happened. The structures remain in silence, yet that silence is not empty — it carries memory, absence, and unresolved echoes.
These images do not attempt to reconstruct the past, but to confront it. Because history is not distant, nor finished. It persists in the way we choose to see — or refuse to see — what unfolds around us.
In a present where human suffering continues to repeat itself in different forms across the world, these places cease to be only memory and become a warning.
Remembering is not a passive act. It is a responsibility.
