TITLE: Faces of Resilience

Faces of Resilience is a documentary series from Bangladesh exploring lives shaped by physically demanding labor, unstable conditions, and economic uncertainty. Set within ship-repairing yards, brick kilns, salt fields, fishing communities, and railway markets, the work observes people living and working in places where endurance, adaptation, and persistence become part of daily existence.
Rather than focusing on spectacle or dramatizing hardship, the photographs approach their subjects through proximity and observation. Alongside physical strain and difficult conditions, the images reveal dignity, intimacy, and routine — fragments of ordinary life unfolding within harsh realities.
The series does not seek to romanticize suffering or construct narratives of heroism. Instead, it aims to document these individuals and communities with honesty, presence, and respect, acknowledging both vulnerability and resilience without reducing them solely to their circumstances.
