TITLE: Creatures Of The Mist
For me ( and many others), the sound of falling water is one of nature's most comforting and meditative sounds.
Waterfalls are one of the most dazzling sights as well, and they are always worth hiking to, to get visual documentation.
They are so full of mysticism, folklore and offer so much in the way of self-realization and spiritual cleansing.
Once I feel satisfied with what I photographed, I feel it is imperative (out of respect) to sit down and absorb the sounds and sights as a means to reassure me that life can still be good and full of promise.
With this series of captures, I chose to add vignetting to draw one's eyes (even more intently) to the power of flowing water.
AUTHOR: Angelo Marcialis (United States)
Retired from a rewarding career as a Music Educator and an active Jazz Musician, Angelo's creative muse is now firmly entrenched in the visual art of Photography. His photographic proficiency has achieved the same creative level that he enjoyed in his music career.
Angelo made the transition from music to photography not only out of necessity, as he never quite recovered from a serious lip injury, but also from a desire to explore a different creative art form; it was quickly becoming his life's new passion!
Angelo has the distinct honor of having his photograph 'Water Forks' selected by the United States Postal Service for the 2025 series of Forever Stamps that features the Appalachian Trail Conservancy's 100th year of protecting the Appalachian Trail.
Over the years, Angelo's landscape photographs have been awarded in adjudicated exhibitions throughout the Tri-State Area. In addition, I was honored to have my entries recognized with Bronze Awards in the prestigious Epson's International Pano Awards.
They have also been requested to be used as raffle items at fundraising functions, as well as featured on various websites, calendars, social media platforms, magazines, travel guides, newspapers and newsletters.

Photographer's Statement:
"To be present while waiting for the Sun's arrival and when the Earth is quiet stimulates a Spiritual Awakening and a sensorial rebirth."
My artistic vision, first thru Music and now Photography, is to bring and share light to the world that I live in. Regardless of the artistic endeavor, it is the creativity that keeps me vibrant, relevant and alive!
Photographer's Mantra:
"Mother Nature does all the work, I just try to be respectful and not get in the way."
I am honored to be able to offer my photography of the beautiful Hudson Valley in New York and beyond for all of your purchasing considerations.
