TITLE: Trees in the Light

An ongoing theme in my work is early light on and through trees, and this selection is drawn from several separate shoots on or around that theme. A couple of the shots were taken in fields and open countryside that is just ten minutes from my home: if the conditions are right I will abandon breakfast and head out with my kit.

Stephen Ellis Bell is a semi-retired semi-pro photographer based around Chester, England, UK. He has been an art teacher, a university lecturer and a schools adviser / inspector before a final position of Head of Schools Organisation with a local authority in the north of England. He has written and published several articles through the online E-Magazine "Landscape Photography" and on the Medium writers' platform. He has been Nominated, Honerably Mentioned, shortlisted and placed in international photography competitions over the last decade. But has yet to achieve a first prize.... (he must work harder!) LOL!
