TITLE: Moments in Time
In this series of black and white photographs, I explore the life cycle of sunflowers, from bud to fading bloom. The images were captured in an autumn sunflower field, as well as from solitary flower heads left behind through the winter.
The series focuses on different stages of the bloom — those that remain unfinished or already passed — where form and structure become most pronounced.
Incompleteness draws me in. It evokes a range of emotions, from melancholy to quiet hope, and invites the imagination to wander.
