TITLE: Anatomy of Identity
The "Anatomy of Identity" series is a photographic study on the multidimensionality of the human self. The project is rooted in the idea that we are not a monolith, but a collection of various, often overlapping versions of our own personality. The use of analog multiple exposure visualizes this internal fluidity. It is a depiction of identity as the interpenetration of different versions of ourselves.

AUTHOR: Arek Akki (Poland)
The human body plays a significant role in my photography.
I am interested in themes such as bodily discomfort, tense relationships with the environment, memory and recollection, the search for anonymity, loneliness, and alienation. I work with monochromatic analogue techniques — medium format film and wet plate collodion.
