TITLE: trapped in a dream
"I remember a dream, but this time it's different. I'm underwater, trapped, yet also held, like in a womb. I can move, but I can't find a way out. The movements come easily, are weightless, but have no direction. The only fixed point is my own body, but even there the boundaries blur. Everything liquefies and I disappear."
This photo series was created spontaneously and unplanned in a thermal pool in the Colombian jungle. A friend started diving in it, and the almost unnatural light of the evening sun, which filtered through the canopy of leaves onto the water's surface, led to reflections and bizarre plays of light that intertwined with the body below.
