TITLE: The Sheep Wash Pool
These images are a visual meditation on memory, transience and an evolving sense of place. Photographed at the old Sheep Wash Pool in the Cotswold Hills, the series invite quiet contemplation, allowing the viewer to reflect upon the atmosphere and stillness, and to project their own narratives and meaning onto the landscape.
AUTHOR: Sarah Brooks (United Kingdom)
I'm Sarah Brooks, based in the south of England where I feel a connection to the landscape, its history and community. Using multiple exposure and in camera movement, together with at times more traditional techniques and mixed media approaches, I seek to create a response to my sense of place and to reflect upon our connection with the natural world, our local and wider community, and the liminality of time and seasons.
