TITLE: negotiated space

‘negotiated space’ is a photographic exploration of the controversial Spittelau Viaducts Housing Project in Vienna by Zaha Hadid Architects.

Through the images ‘contact’, ‘argument’, ‘conflict’, ‘dominance’, ‘insight’ and ‘consensus’, this series examines how architectural forms interact within an urban context. Lines, volumes, shadows and perspectives are composed to suggest dialogue and tension, revealing the built environment as a process of negotiation and compromise rather than a static object.
