TITLE: Surfaces unknown planet

The series “Surfaces unknown planet” deals with the detection and exploration of surfaces that elude general knowledge and understanding at first glance. Are these enlargements from an electron microscope and representations and visualizations of macro worlds? Or are the surfaces of another planet being explored? I found it exciting to pursue and trace the thoroughly mystical element in a photographic series. After all, the objects are located less in Greenland or Iceland than in Germany, in the north of the country to be precise: a lake at the onset of the first winter and its surface turned to ice.

Born in 1981, Germany. First studied Producer for Film. After that study of Diploma Designer at FH Dortmund, FB Design as a cinematographer Film/TV in Germany. Self-employed from 2014-2025 as a cinematographer & editor. Since 2024 working as a photo/video editorial journalist, employed. Focus and concentrating on photography since 2023/24.
