TITLE: In Between
In Between explores the subtle tension between the physical world and the digital realm, reflecting the complexity of navigating both spaces in parallel. While we remain physically rooted in tangible reality, our attention is often absorbed by the boundless digital landscape. This duality creates a space of psychological and emotional friction - where the pressures of the real world coexist with the shifting expectations of the virtual one.
On one side lies the drive for productivity, presence, and personal achievement in the material world. On the other, the digital space introduces a more subjective and socially constructed experience, shaped by norms, trends, and virtual connections. These influences not only affect how individuals present themselves online, but also how they perceive their own identity.
In Between reflects the inner process of reconciling these opposing forces. It is less about achieving a perfect balance, and more about maintaining a sense of inner coherence - aligning one’s values and ambitions across both realities. The work invites reflection on the increasingly blurred boundaries between presence and projection, stillness and stimulation, self and society.
By capturing this in-between state, the image offers a quiet meditation on contemporary existence, where harmony is not found in choosing one world over the other, but in navigating both with awareness and intention.
