TITLE: In between
The plait of a young girl sitting between her parents in the Tate Modern, London (18 Jan 2024).
This picture was taken of a family between activity, sitting silently together. The position of the girl in between her parents, and between childhood and adulthood, seemed very charged – her plait making a break for freedom.
