TITLE: ESSENTIAL
Every morning, at dawn, the fishermen of Zanzibar go out into the sea, whether calm or rough, to look for the fish that guarantees their lives. It's not just a job, but a deep connection with the ocean and a centuries-old tradition.
AUTHOR: Roberta Vagliani (Italy)
My name is Roberta Vagliani (1987) and I am a photographer who lives in a small town in the province of Mantua, in Canneto s/O.
The leitmotif of my shots is centered on these three fundamental aspects: Emotion, Love and Simplicity.
I approached photography at the age of 17 along the path of reportage and visual communication.
For me, travel is discovery and the desire to capture the emotions I try to convey and make those who look at them relive them. Photography is the medium that allows me to tell, without the need to speak, what my eyes see.
