TITLE: Where Silence Begins
Wigry Lake, Poland.
End of March, early morning - blue hour.
This is where silence begins, where everything loud in the world falls away.
Standing waist-deep in freezing water, I waited for any sign of life. The region was slowly waking up after winter. As night faded, the fog began to brighten, and a great crested grebe appeared in front of a lone birch. The photo was originally taken in color - deep navy tones and the pale fog already suggested that the image would feel most at home in black and white.

By education, I’m a psychologist; professionally, a UI designer; and at home, a father of two little rascals.
I was born in Suwałki, a small border town in northeastern Poland - a place surrounded by extraordinary natural beauty.
Nature photography allows me to slow down, to rest - and sometimes, to stop completely. Observing animals in their natural environments and witnessing their instinctive behaviors gives me a different perspective on the world and helps me focus on what truly matters.
I also share my photographic discoveries with a wider audience through my Instagram profile. I shoot digitally and aim to keep post-processing to a minimum, striving to present the scene exactly as I saw it through the lens.
