TITLE: Stoic
This bridge is called "Ponte della becca", it was completed in 1912 and it pass above the confluence of two important rivers of Po valley: Po and Ticino.
Partially damaged during the second world war it continue to carry out its tasks for more than a century, between floods, wars and neglect.
I focused the shot on the pylons in order to transfer the stoicism of these constructions that like strong shoulders support the events and the weight of time.
AUTHOR: Ivan Antonio Malanchini (Italy)
Born in 1981 in Milan, Italy.
Married and father of a daughter, I'm living in a small country town in the Po valley.
As service engineer I spent some time working abroad, actually I work in after sales office of same company.
I love the photography and its various aspects: reading books, studyng authors and studyng images. When I'm free I like to take my camera and walk for hours to take, mainly, landscape pictures.
I prefer to shot black and white photos because the message that I want to extrapolate from an atmosphere is more strong and defined.
I'm also a beekeeper, I love the bees, their organization and their precision.
