TITLE: Playa de Cuevas del Mar

The cliffs along the northern coast of Spain's Atlantic Ocean weave countless stories. They appear different under varying weather conditions and shift with the ocean’s tides. I find peace and harmony in long-exposure photography, where each image captures more than a fleeting moment—it becomes a meditative journey. I believe such photographs can inspire the viewer, inviting them to explore the beauty and uniqueness of the natural world around us. In my work, I experiment with exposures of different lengths, aiming to highlight the uniqueness of the scene and evoke a sense of purity and tranquility. A stunning cliffs and a long exposure (322.7 seconds) helped create this minimal landscape.

Rolandas Urbonavicius is an independent photographer based in Germany. Using black-and-white photography and long exposures, he captures the changing landscape as a reflection of human emotion.
