TITLE: Ascend
Photographed in Madrid’s Cuatro Torres Business Area, Ascend isolates one of Spain’s tallest towers in a surreal vertical composition. The building rises like a monolith through negative space, framed by the fluid curves of a modern canopy. Light becomes sculptor, shadow becomes silence.
This image is a study in dominance and purity—how architecture can transcend function and become symbol. By removing context and compressing depth, the frame transforms glass and steel into something almost mythological.
Part of an ongoing series exploring the tension between geometry and emotion, Ascend invites the viewer to leave the street behind and enter a different realm—one where gravity bends and structure becomes spirit.
No clutter. No time. Just ascent.
AUTHOR: Robert Fülöp (Romania)
I’m Robert Fülöp, an award-winning fine art photographer and founder of CØRBØ, known for bold architectural imagery that fuses geometry, shadow, and silence. My work is rooted in precision and mood, stripping buildings of context to elevate them into myth. Through sharp composition and stark monochrome treatment, I don’t just photograph structures—I transform them into monuments of solitude and power.
