TITLE: Filling the Frame
The world is a complex place. How the eye sees the world is not a single subject but the entire periphery, approximately 180 degrees. We then rely on our minds to make sense of what we see and focus on areas we think are important or interesting. I've always seen my role as an artist as being the eyes of the audience. I enjoy filling the frame with as much as possible, carefully placing items within the frame. I want the viewer's eye to wander around the frame and discover the composition. While the composition is the primary goal of my Photography, I also examine how the objects work together, looking for any humorous, sarcastic, or ironic twist.
