TITLE: Beauty is...beyond the veil

I had the privilege of photographing these beautiful women while living in Mexico and subsequent visits thereafter to continue the project.

This series explores the depths that dwell beyond appearance, images that move beyond the literal and transcend the invisible presence of beauty. Each face has its own landscape and is vibrant with the mysterious textures and layers of memory, story, and dreams that illuminate the essence of their spirit.

I find nostalgic, ethereal images extend beyond the normal limits of time and reveal an ever-present spirit, a timelessness. In this case the feminine spirit –their strength, power, vulnerability, the sheer grace of their presence. John O’Donahue, a wonderful Irish poet says, “Beauty enables the heart and reminds us of the infinity that is within us”. With that in mind It is honestly a silent conversation, an invitation to uncover and reveal the unseen.

It is the magic of intuition and imagination that informs and guides me on this journey.
