TITLE: Shards of Light
“Shards of Light” is a fine art project that explores the relationship between light and the human body through its visual fragmentation. The project transforms the body into luminous “shards,” fragments that seem to float in darkness.
Light projections and carefully controlled shadows on a dark background trace and distort the body’s contours, highlighting the texture of the skin and creating a feeling of isolation and abstraction. This fragmentation breaks down the human form and opens space for multiple interpretations related to identity and perception.
Inspired by Cubism and the experimental photography of artists like Man Ray and Laurence Demaison, the project uses light as a tool for transformation, emphasizing texture, form, and the subtle relationship between the body and space.
“Shards of Light” is a visual experiment inviting the viewer to rethink how we perceive reality, focusing on fragments that become abstract expressions of the human body.
