TITLE: Dust, elegance, time
The Namib Desert, among the oldest in the world, is known for its majestic dunes with characteristic red sand surrounding the remains of the acacia trees at Deadvlei.
My passion for trees led me to this remote place, where I captured these wooden skeletons with my trusty 100-400mm lens.
I chose to eliminate the vibrant red of the dunes to focus attention on the melancholic beauty, at times playful, of these trees, which seem to want to touch each other without ever succeeding.
The monochrome emphasizes their simplicity and elegance, inviting us to reflect on time and the flow of life.
