TITLE: Power of water
Dettifoss in northeastern Iceland is one of the largest waterfalls in Europe. Every second, several hundred cubic meters of water plunge 44 meters over a 100-meter-high cliff. Apart from the technical facts, it is always an incredible experience for me to stand right next to the unbelievable roar. You can visit the waterfall from both the west and east sides. The view is different - on the east side you can look into the spray and see the turbulence, while on the west side you can admire the wide front of the waterfall.
