TITLE: When Peace (Lilies) Die
I had one job: take care of my wife's peace lily. Unfortunately, I failed at that but was able to turn her loss into a series of pictures that capture the beauty of that plant in its death. I am drawn to the curves of the stems and the curling of the flower edges. I find the dead version of the flowers prettier than when they were in full bloom.

I am a retired Engineering Fellow from Epic Games. I fell into photography by accident and have been trying to improve my skills ever since. I prefer black and white because it immediately strips away any expectation on how a scene should be viewed. It provides more freedom than color and allows me to put more of me into an image.
