TITLE: Unexplainable Feelings
What pushes me in my photography is the way I express my inexpressible feelings through the medium. My photos are about capturing my emotions rather than what's in front of me, and letting the viewer decide what it means. The series I present to you now is an extension of that, to show my day to day, living in my home town again after graduating college. These overwhelming feelings of mediocrity as I live everyday in blind nostalgia, living in my cycle while the world around me changes, but my small town stays the same, as if I never left. I am unable to really say if this form of living makes me sad, angry, happy, or afraid, all I know is that I know I'm scared with and without it. My photos are my clear sense of time shifting, things getting different, I get older, that this "cycle" I believe I'm in sometimes isn't there.
