TITLE: Buried in Oblivion
“Buried in Oblivion” is a collection of images born from a very personal place — my need to give voice to a reality we often overlook: the world where we are buried in our own waste. Using a scanner and old negatives, I worked with discarded objects—what many would simply call trash—but for me, these become testimonies of a lost connection with nature.
This series reveals a hidden reality, where waste overwhelms the environment, reflecting a society that has lost its vital bond with nature and its original purity. For me, each image is an attempt to stop time and reflect on what it means to be “buried” — not only in physical garbage but also in forgetfulness, indifference, and detachment from the world we live in.
“Buried in Oblivion” is not just a critique but also an invitation — to look more closely at the world around us, to rediscover our connection with nature, and maybe, to cleanse not only our environment but also our souls.
