TITLE: Left Behind
I really needed the quiet of the desert. No better place than Death Valley for that. When I arrived I caught a storm passing over the dunes for sunset. It was incredible, but also made it all feel overwhelming. Like too much was going on. Morning came fast and I just couldn't seem to find a composition. I stopped to adjust something and as I was looking down I saw this cool pattern. At first I noticed a little heart shape. I spent a little more time with it then all these other things started to pop out at me. I spent the next 3-4 hours hunting around seeing what might reveal itself. At the bottom of every little dune cluster I'd find something new. Often being drawn to what looked like animals, faces, or some type of creatures battling it out. It felt like some ancient artist hid these things. Like it was left behind just for me to find.
