The natural world has always captivated me - its textures, light, and fleeting moments that pass before we can fully take them in.
Photography gives me a way to hold onto those moments, to distill the raw essence of life into an image.
With each image, I hope to spark a sense of wonder - something that lingers with the viewer. Whether exploring the stark beauty of a natural landscape, the intricate details of urban architecture, or the quiet moments of everyday life, my photographs invite viewers to reflect on the beauty of moments lost and found.
Inspired by revered pioneers such as Ansel Adams, Irving Penn, Saul Leiter, and Johannes Vermeer, I strive to showcase Californian landscapes and the American West, drawing from their technical mastery while cultivating my own visual voice.
Using medium format film and digital cameras, I meticulously scan and process each image or negative to achieve the desired tonal and compositional balance. The final prints are produced on museum-grade archival paper that resonates with my vision.
The world keeps teaching me how to look - and I keep returning to it, with a camera in hand.
