Kelly Conlin's interest in photography began when he was a teenager, inspired by the
book "The Family of Man" from the Museum of Modern Art exhibition curated by Edward Steichen. He started a commercial photography business while in high school and became a darkroom technician for a commercial photographer. After a career in media and technology, he began photographing again in 2022, some forty years after taking his first photograph with a Kodak 35mm Retinette camera. He focuses on street and documentary photography, and has been included in a number of juried exhibitions.
