TITLE: Youth
I see carefree, lightness and beauty. Yet, cut lilies are the representation of the beginning and the end, referring to umbilical cord that once cut, begins the inevitable process of growth, blossom, degradation and passing away. The miraculous cycle of life. The decay is subtly depicted by the fallen leaves, yet the model seems to levitate over it. She looks back as if longing for the past, whereas her beautiful body with with stretch marks on the thigh jumps dynamically into the future, saying there is no turning back of time. It is a praise of life, ephemeral beauty and of a moment that lasts.
