TITLE: Queen of Imire
This magnificent elephant lives in the private reserve of Imire in Zimbabwe. This reserve is known for the conservation of black and white rhinoceros. However, they have three elephants living there, including this one. During my report in Zimbabwe, I was able to approach these elephants without the slightest embarrassment. They are not shy because they are protected by an anti poacher unit all day long. So they accept humans as long as we obviously respect them. That day, it was very hot and the elephant decided to throw dirt on it to protect itself from the sun and parasites. The shape of the dust on her head is quite incredible because it reminds me of a crown, that's why I called this photo ''The Queen of Imire''.
