TITLE: The Tale of the Snarling Leopard

On a misty winter morning with the sun hidden behind a blanket of clouds, we stumbled upon a big male leopard feasting on a warthog kill atop a tree. After satisfying his hunger, he descended in search of water and a shady spot to rest. The kill remained largely uneaten, so we knew he would likely return. Our game of patience began. As sundown approached with no sign of the leopard, our hopes waned—until we saw movement. The leopard was slowly making his way back. A small clan of hyenas eagerly awaited, hoping to seize the kill. As the leopard ascended the tree, he gave a big snarl, clearly showing his reluctance to share his meal.
