TITLE: The king

This imposing bear, whom we named Baloo, seemed to be the king of the territory. We spent hours watching him catch salmon with great ease, and no other bear would come near where he was. Several times he passed by our side, as in the moment of the picture, reminding us of how small we are in his realm.
It's awe-inspiring to see such a large animal come so close to you without any kind of protection. I was crouched almost to the ground with my camera when he gave me this gaze. My heart raced, and at the same time, a smile spread across my face due to the happiness of being there and having captured this unique moment.
