TITLE: Pistachio tree
Ever since I started drawing lessons, I see the world and nature with fresh eyes. This black-and-white image exemplifies my newfound perspective. It depicts a part of a pistachio tree in May, with the pistachios still small and growing. The stark contrast captures the delicate balance of nature, highlighting how a sudden rain in June or July can devastate the crop. Through my art, I want to appreciate the fragility and resilience of these trees even more deeply. There is also a deeper symbolism as I used to live to the island of Aegina, Greece which is known worldwide for its pistachio production

Feelings are the roadmap for the work I produce. My heart is filled with emotions which are translated into an imaginary of lines, shapes, colors and projections of my inner state. Past, present and future are dynamically encountered.
As a child, when I wanted to escape reality or see the colours differently, I used to do a trick with my eyes. I guess this was the first step of playing with the "art of seeing".
In 2011, a profound revelation ignited my passion for photography, leading me to embrace the world through the lenses of my brand new DSLR camera. Since then, I have immersed myself in the art, participating in seminars and workshops to refine my skills. As a photographer, I relentlessly pursue a connection. When you see my photos I want you stop thinking and start feeling.
Raised in the serene beauty of Missolonghi, Greece, I now recognise the profound influence of my hometown on my artistic journey.
In 2023, I expanded my creative horizons by delving into drawing lessons, aiming to weave a unique tapestry of visual expression by experimenting with the seamless fusion of photography and drawing.
My photos have been featured in solo & group exhibitions in Greece as well as in private art collections.
