Born in 1980 in Plunge, Lithuania. Self-taught photographer working with analogue and digital methods more then 10 years. Photography is an art that can give meaning to a moment, a day, or a life. Graduated from the Faculty of Medicine of Vilnius University in 2006. Since 2008 he has been working as a family physician at the Family Medicine Centre of Vilnius university hospital Santaros Klinikos. In 2013 he defended his PhD thesis "Correlation of primary arterial hypertension in adolescents with physical and mental health as well as with risk factors of cardiovascular disease". Since 2017, coordinator of Family Medicine at Vilnius University Faculty of Medicine. He is a supervisor of many students and resident doctors' scientific works. He is co-author of more than 60 medical scientific articles and books. His research interests include atherosclerosis, metabolic syndrome, drug interactions, pain management. He became interested in artistic photography in 2013. A year later, his friends noticed the first photos, and the book publishing house "Alma littera" published the captured moments of Fr. OFM A. Peškaitis' book of poems, "Vedami". In 2015, another poetry book, "Bandymai", features several analogue photos, while others are published on the internet portal www.bernardinai.lt. In 2020, the book publishing house "Žara" wants to use photos of different genres to illustrate the poetry book, "Pamatymai", and the Palanga hotel "Gintarautojai" fills the interior with photos in the opening of its business in 2021.
