TITLE: Still Standing
A long exposure photo of an old wooden pier on a fishing town where fishermen use to tie their boats.
The pier was so old that some parts were broken making it impossible to stand on it. However the pillars were still there. Even though there were deformations caused by moist they were strong enough to handle the weight of the small fishing boats when tied.
The processing was done to bring out the details in the worn out texture of the pillars and ropes. Therefore to eliminate all other objects, and direct full attention to the subject, other details on the background and horizon were faded in processing.
In addition to this, the processing was done to come up with a calm, minimalistic finish.
