TITLE: Black sheep
The compositional loneliness of the titular black sheep captures the essence of the idiom. This blurring of the boundaries between human constructs and nature’s interpretations reflects the complex interplay between culture, language, and our understanding of the world around us. The seat of scoffers to the left is nearly caricatural to the idiomatic expression, as one can almost see the pointing fingers and hear the distant rumble of mockery.
Context: Having arrived at the Stevns Klint coastline in Zealand (Denmark) I find myself thrown off course by the grimy weather and lack of a beaten path, leading me onto the coastal farmlands.
